• 1971 born in Kastl near Amberg
• 1995-98 training at the state vocational school for wood carving in Oberammergau
• 1998-04 Studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts with Prof. Höpfner, Nuremberg
• 2001 Guest semester at the University of Art and Design, Burg Giebichenstein, Halle
• 2002 master student
• 2005 freelance lives with his family in the Oberpfalz, Bavaria
